Senior Engineering Manager (Mobile Fintech)

Location: Remote within Canada or the United States; listed locations include San Francisco, New York, and Portland.

Base salary: US employees $239,000–$298,800 USD; Canadian employees CAD $225,900–$282,400.

What you will do

• Lead a 13-person mobile engineering team comprising Android and iOS engineers, including one backend engineer.
• Mentor, retain, and provide feedback to engineers across experience levels.
• Partner with engineering, design, product, backend, web, and infrastructure leaders.
• Influence product roadmaps and establish structured approaches for elevating mobile engineering.
• Translate mobile constraints and opportunities for the broader engineering organization.

Requirements

• 5+ years of engineering management experience leading mobile and/or web engineering teams.
• Strong expertise in both iOS and Android development.
• Ability to participate deeply in technical discussions.
• Familiarity with Kotlin for Android and Swift/RxSwift for iOS.
• Product-minded experience building and shipping new products.
• Experience developing engineers, creating advancement paths, and building independently executing teams.
