Software Engineer, Quality (Web)

Base salary: €41,800–€52,200 gross per year

What you will do

• Develop and maintain test approaches for designated Web Platform areas, balancing manual and automated coverage.
• Prioritize testing as requirements and implementation evolve, directing effort toward the highest-impact risks.
• Review pull requests and technical designs to identify coverage gaps and surface quality risks early.
• Define and report the quality information needed for team decisions.
• Improve testing practices, tools, and processes, and support their adoption across the team.
• Coach developers on testing practices and collaborate with QA, product, development, and partner functions.

Requirements

• Solid knowledge of QA principles and methodologies with the ability to work independently.
• Programming experience with C# sufficient to review code changes and maintain automated tests.
• Experience creating test approaches for complex functionality from requirements and technical designs.
• Experience raising quality standards and coaching engineers without direct management responsibility.
• Ability to estimate work, manage changing priorities, and communicate risks early.
• Professional written and verbal English is required for regular communication with colleagues and partners worldwide.

Nice to have

• Experience testing WebAssembly applications in browser environments.
• Working knowledge of the hirify.global Editor and building hirify.global projects.
• Programming experience with JavaScript.
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines and automated test suites.
• Scrum certification or experience working in a Scrum team.
