TL;DR
Data Analyst (HVAC): Building and deploying analytics solutions, Tableau dashboards, and integrated data structures for commercial HVAC sales and operations with an accent on data transformation, visualization, and business insight generation. Focus on combining multiple datasets, translating stakeholder requirements into self-service analytics, and presenting complex findings to senior leadership.

Location: Hybrid onsite role available in Davidson, NC; La Crosse, WI; Tyler, TX; or White Bear Lake, MN. Onsite Monday through Thursday; Fridays offer flexible work location.

Annual base salary: $72,611.66–$101,394.99

What you will do

  • Develop and deploy analytics solutions that enable self-service reporting for sales and functional leadership.
  • Translate business priorities and stakeholder requirements into effective analytical solutions.
  • Create, improve, and maintain Tableau dashboards using financial and operational metrics.
  • Develop data structures that combine multiple datasets for multidimensional analysis and performance dashboards.
  • Manage solution deployment through standards, training, demos, and ongoing business support.
  • Present customized findings to senior leadership and field offices while establishing analytics best practices.

Requirements

  • Undergraduate degree in business, engineering, computer science, information technology, statistics, finance, economics, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
  • 2–4 years of experience developing analytics solutions.
  • Experience building visualizations with Tableau or Power BI.
  • Experience with cloud infrastructure and writing SQL queries.
  • Strong data manipulation, analysis, critical thinking, problem-solving, communication, and stakeholder collaboration skills.
  • Ability to wrangle and mine data, create interpretable visualizations, and evaluate solutions from the customer’s perspective.

Nice to have

  • Proficiency with data transformation tools such as Alteryx or Dataiku.
  • Willingness to learn new tools and develop advanced analytics capabilities.
