TL;DR
Senior Counsel (Insurance): Advising Marsh’s brokerage and risk advisory businesses in Türkiye and drafting, reviewing, and negotiating domestic and global commercial agreements with an accent on insurance-sector legal support, strategic alliances, and innovation initiatives. Focus on managing complex contract negotiations, providing commercially sound advice to leadership, and supporting reinsurance, cyber, and technology-related arrangements.
Location: Istanbul, Türkiye; hybrid work with three days per week in the office

What you will do
- Advise management on legal matters across brokerage and risk advisory businesses in Türkiye.
- Draft, review, and negotiate client services, consulting, confidentiality, vendor, technology, and RFP agreements.
- Support strategic alliance, joint marketing, and referral agreements with third parties.
- Advise innovation initiatives developing new products and solutions.
- Collaborate with stakeholders and leadership across the organization and identify process efficiencies.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in law and 7+ years of experience in the insurance sector.
- Fluent written and spoken English required.
- Strong legal and commercial judgment, communication, negotiation, analytical, and project management skills.
- Ability to manage confidential information, multiple priorities, pressure, and deadlines.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications and ability to work effectively in a team.
