AI Security Engineer Mid (m/f/d)

Location: Porto, Portugal; possibility of working from home.

What you will do

• Build, deploy, and operate secure AI platform services across AWS and Azure.
• Configure and govern AWS Bedrock and Azure AI Foundry, including private networking, guardrails, model governance, and regional controls.
• Implement API mediation, access control, IAM, service identities, RBAC, and least-privilege controls for AI workloads.
• Deploy containerized AI workloads on Kubernetes environments such as AKS and EKS, including GPU-enabled and self-hosted models.
• Develop Infrastructure as Code and CI/CD pipelines for secure, automated, and auditable deployments.
• Integrate telemetry, logging, monitoring, detection, SIEM, incident response, observability, runbooks, cost management, and data protection practices.

Requirements

• At least 4 years of professional experience in security, cloud security, platform security, cybersecurity engineering, or a related field.
• Hands-on experience with AI platforms, especially AWS Bedrock and Azure AI Foundry, and practical AI security experience.
• Experience with AWS and Azure, IAM, service identities, RBAC, least privilege, Kubernetes, Infrastructure as Code, automation, and CI/CD.
• Knowledge of monitoring, logging, observability, SIEM integrations, incident response, data classification, privacy, compliance, and EU data residency requirements.
• Degree in Computer Science, Cybersecurity, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field.
• Fluent English, written and spoken, is required. Strong analytical, troubleshooting, communication, and stakeholder management skills are expected.

Nice to have

• Certifications such as Microsoft Azure Security Engineer, Azure AI Engineer, AWS Security Specialty, or AWS AI Practitioner.
• German language skills.
• Experience with emerging AI security threats, vulnerabilities, technologies, and industry practices.
