Salary: €65,600–€98,400 per year, plus eligibility for the Incentive Plan.

What you will do
- Design, develop, verify, and maintain software for medical device products in compliance with applicable standards, including IEC 62304.
- Collaborate with product, systems, test, and architecture teams to define technical solutions and deliver project objectives.
- Lead software development activities, including estimation, planning, and technical execution across project phases.
- Review requirements, architecture, designs, source code, and other engineering deliverables.
- Provide technical leadership, mentoring, and guidance while driving software quality and development efficiency improvements.
- Use AI-assisted tools for implementation, code review, and debugging while applying the same quality and safety standards as for manually written code.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in computer engineering, software engineering, computer science, electrical engineering, or a related technical discipline with at least 4 years of relevant experience; or an advanced degree with at least 2 years of experience.
- Experience with established software development lifecycle processes, Agile methodologies, and Test-Driven Development.
- Proficiency in at least two of XML, C++, Java, JavaScript, C#, .NET, Python, or HTML.
- Experience with software design, code review, and software verification activities.
Nice to have
- Medical device software development experience and knowledge of applicable regulatory expectations.
- Technical leadership, mentoring, or guidance experience.
- Experience in cross-functional product development environments.
- Experience creating reusable frameworks, components, or design patterns.
