Senior International Payroll Analyst (EMEA): Managing accurate, timely, and compliant payroll operations across multiple EMEA countries with an accent on vendor management, payroll controls, accounting reconciliations, and employment tax compliance. Focus on standardizing payroll processes, processing equity transactions, coordinating international tax filings, and solving complex payroll inquiries across local jurisdictions.
Location: Remote, based in Ireland. Occasional travel may be required for project or team meetings.

What you will do
- Oversee payroll processing and management for assigned international payrolls across the EMEA region.
- Coordinate with external payroll vendors to ensure accurate and timely processing of pay-impacting transactions.
- Support payroll accounting, journal and accrual preparation, general ledger reconciliations, and internal controls.
- Manage payroll and benefits projects, including equity transactions, tax reporting, audits, and statutory filings.
- Serve as a point of contact for employee payroll queries in Colombia, Brazil, and other assigned countries.
- Improve payroll documentation, procedures, standardization, and employee experience.
Requirements
- 6+ years of experience managing international payroll processing, with working experience in accounting.
- Experience processing equity transactions and working with external payroll providers.
- Experience with Workday.
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance or a related field.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, prioritization, and attention-to-detail skills.
- Excellent written and verbal English communication skills.
Nice to have
- Knowledge of EMEA labor laws, tax regulations, statutory filings, European Works Councils, and trade union agreements.
- Experience auditing payroll processes, maintaining internal controls, implementing payroll systems, or transitioning vendors.
- Advanced Excel skills for complex reconciliation and reporting.
- Interest in applying AI and other emerging technologies to payroll workflows.
