What you will do

• Design, implement, and optimize complex data pipelines using advanced SQL, ETL tools, and integration technologies.
• Build scalable data integration and warehousing solutions for advanced analytics and data science initiatives.
• Lead technical discovery, define complex requirements, and map detailed implementation scenarios.
• Drive automation, data delivery optimization, infrastructure redesign, and other process improvements.
• Evaluate emerging data technologies and maintain data governance policies and procedures.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Management, or a related field.
• At least 5 years of experience in data engineering or related roles.
• Advanced proficiency in Python, Java, Scala, and expert-level SQL; strong PostgreSQL experience is preferred.
• Extensive experience with Hadoop, Spark, Kafka, cloud environments, large-scale data warehousing, data modeling, and enterprise ETL tools.
• Strong Python and Spark ETL experience; AWS Glue, AWS Lambda, and Airflow experience is preferred.
• Must be legally authorized to work in the United States. Visa sponsorship is not provided.

Nice to have

• Healthcare industry experience involving clinical, financial, or operational data.
• Knowledge of machine learning, AI data requirements, data visualization, and real-time data processing.
• Experience with data privacy compliance and database source control, including Flyway Desktop.
