Lead Software Engineer (Cybersecurity)

What you will do

• Extend data-processing capabilities for rich malware reports using static and dynamic analysis.
• Build tools and infrastructure for diverse workloads, managing more than 10PB of data, millions of virtual machines per day, and terabytes of data processed hourly.
• Develop web services that help users work effectively with Sandbox.
• Build tools to customize and analyze operating systems and hypervisors, including Windows, Unix, Android, and QEMU.
• Contribute technical ideas and take initiative on complex engineering work in a distributed team.

Requirements

• Experience with Go or another strongly typed backend language such as Java, C#, or C++.
• Professional experience with Linux.
• Track record of building high-quality software through professional work, projects, or contributions.
• Ability to automate repetitive tasks.
• Ability to work asynchronously in a distributed team and operate proactively.

Nice to have

• Postgres experience.
• QEMU experience.
• Experience implementing RFCs and protocols.
• Malware-analysis experience.
