What you will do
- Lead and manage the Payment Implementation Team responsible for translating customer documents and requirements into payable activities.
- Monitor performance metrics, manage implementation queues, assign priorities, and ensure service-level requirements are met.
- Review unique payment requests and large-scale updates for feasibility and act as an escalation point for clients and internal Operations Teams.
- Collaborate with Relationship Management and Project Management on customer engagement, capacity planning, prioritization, reporting, and subject-matter support.
- Maintain process controls, documentation, audit checklists, workflow tracking, and accuracy parameters for implementation and verification activities.
- Coach team members, deliver training, and develop procedures that address clinical-trial payment and country-specific requirements.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience and training.
- At least 4 years of experience in contract management or payments, preferably within pharmaceuticals or a contract research organization.
- Foundational knowledge of global clinical-trial design, contracts, and budgets.
- Strong experience with Microsoft Excel.
- Strong leadership, analytical, organizational, interpersonal, and time-management skills.
- Ability to challenge existing practices and develop improved processes to address gaps.
