Incident Response Coordinator (Cybersecurity)

What you will do

• Coordinate containment, eradication, recovery, and other response activities for critical cybersecurity incidents.
• Oversee, validate, and document containment while serving as an escalation point for the Global Security Operations Center.
• Schedule and chair Post Incident Reviews, document Root Cause Analysis, and track actions designed to prevent recurrence.
• Provide 24x7 on-call incident management support on a rotating basis and maintain incident response runbooks.
• Coordinate remediation of bug bounty findings with whitehat researchers and collaborate with Risk Management, Legal, and Privacy teams.
• Provide executive-level written communications and recommendations to improve security posture based on lessons learned.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or a related field, or equivalent relevant experience.
• At least 2 years of experience in incident management or incident response.
• Knowledge of network operations, engineering, or systems administration across Unix, Linux, macOS, or Windows.
• Knowledge of security operations, intrusion detection systems, SIEM, penetration testing, web application assessment, secure coding, and cloud technologies.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to facilitate discussions and communicate incident results.
• Working knowledge of PCI, GDPR, PII, NIST Cybersecurity Framework, and related data security practices.

Nice to have

• ITIL v4 or professional security certifications such as Security+, CySA+, SSCP, CISM, CISA, GSEC, or GCIH.
• Cloud certifications or knowledge of Google Cloud and AWS foundations.
• Experience with Google Workspace and JIRA.
