Software Engineer - Securities Operations (Fintech)

What you will do

• Design, develop, maintain, improve, and optimize software solutions for securities operations.
• Build features for securities trading, transaction reporting, securities settlement, reconciliation, and corporate actions.
• Write solution designs and collaborate with technical leads and architects through reviews.
• Participate in client workshops and support requirements analysis with business analysts.
• Develop and maintain automated tests and contribute to quality assurance.
• Work with Team Leads, Product Owners, Business Analysts, Software Engineers, clients, and related teams in an agile environment.

Requirements

• At least 3 years of relevant software development experience.
• Strong knowledge of SQL and Oracle PL/SQL.
• Knowledge of Java; Python, C++, or similar languages is useful.
• Structured, autonomous, conceptual, and analytical approach to complex technical and business problems.
• Willingness to understand business needs and produce clean designs and high-quality code.
• Experience with agile processes and ticketing platforms such as Jira.

Nice to have

• Financial industry or securities trading experience.
• Experience with other trading system IT vendors.
• University degree in Computer Science or a related discipline.
• Knowledge of FIX, SWIFT MT, or SWIFT MX and ISO 20022 standards.
