TL;DR
Interactive Play Designer (LEGO Design) (Interactive Play): Creating interactive play experiences that connect physical and digital design, from early concepts through launch, with an accent on playable prototyping, user testing, and child-centered design. Location: Billund, Denmark. Hybrid work with an average of 3 days per week in the office.

What you will do
- Create interactive play experiences across physical and digital products, from early concepts through ready-to-launch designs.
- Design and develop prototypes at different levels of fidelity to test, explore, and validate enjoyable play experiences with children.
- Define creative directions using the system-in-play, consumer insights, competitor knowledge, and prior experience.
- Facilitate and participate in workshops, brainstorming sessions, ideation activities, and design feedback.
- Drive interactive play innovation for new and existing products in collaboration with model designers, marketers, app developers, and other partners.
- Balance design complexity, technology feasibility, budget, and business objectives.
Requirements
- 3+ years of experience designing and conceptualizing connected toys or play experiences.
- Educational background in Interaction Design or a related field such as Industrial Design, Human-Computer Interaction, UX, Computer Science, Architecture, or Game Design.
- Ability to program and develop testable, playable prototypes; shippable production code is not required.
- Experience with iterative prototyping, testing, and validation.
- Ability to take designs from exploratory concepts through product launch and prioritize work according to business needs.
- Strong verbal and visual communication skills, with the ability to present ideas to internal and external stakeholders.
