Principal Backend Development Engineer (C++)

What you will do

• Develop and maintain trading tool modules, including trading strategies and trading bots.
• Design scalable and reliable trading tool engines for high-concurrency, low-latency workloads.
• Participate in technical design reviews and code reviews.
• Build observability infrastructure covering monitoring, alerting, distributed tracing, and logging.
• Investigate production incidents and participate in post-mortem reviews.
• Own code quality, service reliability, performance, and minimal downtime in a 24x7 production environment.

Requirements

• 3+ years of Go development experience with a strong understanding of concurrency, memory management, and garbage collection.
• Experience designing high-concurrency, low-latency systems and applying performance optimization techniques.
• Familiarity with Aeron, Kafka, Redis Streams, and streaming data architectures.
• Strong engineering discipline, clean and maintainable code practices, thorough code reviews, and production ownership.
• Advanced English proficiency in written and verbal communication.

Nice to have

• Experience with C++ or Java in low-latency environments.
• Familiarity with FIX protocol and SBE.
