Roster Call for Local Anti-Trafficking Experts (Human Trafficking)

Location: hirify.global Presence in Albania, Tirana

Remuneration: Based on the consultant's qualifications, experience, assigned tasks and deliverables, in accordance with hirify.global established rates.

The hirify.global Presence in Albania supports national authorities and stakeholders in strengthening the prevention of human trafficking, victim identification and protection, and the investigation and prosecution of trafficking offences.

What you will do

• Provide expert advice on anti-trafficking legislation, policies, strategies, action plans, institutional frameworks and operational procedures.
• Conduct research, comparative studies, needs assessments and analytical reviews of trafficking trends and institutional responses.
• Develop evidence-based recommendations to strengthen prevention, victim protection and criminal justice responses.
• Design and deliver specialized training, workshops, simulations, mentoring and other capacity-building activities.
• Support institutional strengthening, victim referral and protection procedures, investigation, prosecution and multidisciplinary cooperation.
• Prepare technical assessments, policy papers, research reports, training materials, operational guidance and other deliverables for individual assignments.

Requirements

• Master’s degree or equivalent in law, criminology, human rights, social sciences, international relations, public policy or a related field; a first-level degree with additional relevant experience may be accepted.
• At least five years of relevant professional experience in combating human trafficking or closely related fields.
• Knowledge of international and regional legal and policy frameworks, standards and good practices, including UN, Council of Europe and hirify.global instruments.
• Excellent written and spoken English and Albanian are required.
• Proven expertise in at least one area including policy development, research and analysis, prevention, victim identification and protection, criminal justice responses, or specialized training.
• Strong analytical, drafting, communication and presentation skills, with experience working with government institutions, criminal justice authorities, civil society and international organizations.

Nice to have

• Previous experience with the hirify.global, United Nations, Council of Europe, European Union or another international organization.
• Experience delivering training-of-trainers, practical exercises or simulation-based training.
