What you will do
- Partner with actuarial teams to identify reporting priorities and deliver actionable reporting solutions.
- Develop and enhance reports, data visualizations, and semantic models using Power BI and Microsoft Power Platform tools.
- Build and maintain automated testing workflows in cloud environments and scalable CI/CD pipelines using Git-based workflows.
- Validate report outputs with QA teams and maintain documentation for internal use and user acceptance testing.
- Partner with data engineering and IT teams to improve reporting data models, architecture, governance, and compliance.
Requirements
- At least 2 years of experience developing reports in Power BI.
- At least 5 years of experience building reports and dashboards with visualization tools such as Power BI, QlikView, or Tableau.
- Experience supporting analytics or actuarial functions, preferably in an insurance environment.
- Strong analytical thinking, problem-solving skills, and the ability to troubleshoot technical challenges independently.
- Bachelor’s degree in statistics, mathematics, information technology, computer science, business analytics, data analytics, or equivalent experience.
Nice to have
- Familiarity with SQL, Snowflake, Python, Streamlit, or Sigma.
