What you will do
- Analyze complex software, hardware, and communication systems to understand how they operate and fail.
- Use static and dynamic analysis tools to identify known and previously unknown vulnerabilities.
- Reverse engineer software and assess how vulnerabilities affect system operation.
- Develop custom software and hardware tools for automated analysis and vulnerability research.
- Develop tools to analyze and inject datalink messages and other communication protocols.
- Document identified vulnerabilities and their operational impact in detail.
Requirements
- Currently pursuing a bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or Computer Engineering.
- US citizenship is required.
- Ability to obtain and maintain a security clearance.
- Experience applicable to software, hardware, and communications analysis, reverse engineering, and vulnerability analysis.
Nice to have
- Master's degree in Electrical Engineering or Computer Engineering.
- Experience with radar systems, data fusion, machine learning, or artificial intelligence.
- Programming experience with C, C++, or Python.
- Experience with Ghidra, IDA Pro, Kali, OllyDbg, or Wireshark.
- Experience with weapon system design or analysis, US Intelligence Community or Department of Defense contracting, or an active TS/SCI clearance.
