Full Time Faculty – Computer Science Programme (Software Engineering)

What you will do

• Deliver practical, project-based instruction across Computer Science, Software Engineering, computing, data, and technology modules.
• Guide students through real-world projects, stakeholder engagement, solution development, presentations, and capstone work.
• Design, review, and improve learning materials, assessments, examinations, reading lists, and feedback processes.
• Contribute to programme design, redesign, accreditation, quality assurance, academic policy, and programme documentation.
• Support programme administration, assessment cycles, faculty coordination, student progression tracking, and delegated management responsibilities.
• Design and deliver short courses, bootcamps, certificates, and professional education offerings in emerging technology areas.

Requirements

• PhD or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology, or a closely related field.
• Strong subject expertise across core Computer Science, including the ability to teach foundational and advanced topics.
• Demonstrated experience with practical, hands-on, project-based, or experiential learning.
• Experience designing assessments, marking against defined criteria, and maintaining academic standards.
• Strong organisational, administrative, written communication, and documentation skills.
• Ability to teach diverse and non-specialist cohorts, integrate AI tools responsibly into education, and take on delegated programme management responsibilities.

Nice to have

• Industry experience in software development, IT systems, or a related technical field.
• Higher education teaching, mentoring, student supervision, curriculum design, validation, or accreditation experience.
• Research experience, relevant publications, or interest in scholarly and applied projects.
• Experience developing technology ventures or an entrepreneurial mindset.
