hirify.global is hiring for software development work focused on Android applications and back-end integrations.

What you will do

  • Design, build, and maintain Android applications.
  • Integrate mobile applications with back-end services and RESTful APIs.
  • Define, design, and deliver new features collaboratively with other engineers.
  • Improve application performance, responsiveness, quality, and user experience.
  • Identify bottlenecks, fix bugs, and support code organization and automation.
  • Apply DevOps principles, continuous integration, and Agile development practices.

Requirements

  • At least 5 years of professional software development experience.
  • Strong Java experience and deep exposure to Kotlin and the Android ecosystem.
  • Proficiency with Android Studio, object-oriented programming, Groovy, Git or Azure DevOps, and Jira.
  • Knowledge of memory management, multithreading, performance optimization, benchmarking, and Android performance characteristics.
  • Experience with automated testing platforms, unit testing, RESTful APIs, continuous integration, and Agile methodology.
  • BSc in Computer Science or an equivalent qualification.
