TL;DR
Head of Group Financial Controlling (IFRS/Finance AI): Leading group and entity-level financial controlling across an international organization with an accent on IFRS compliance, month-end closing, audit readiness, tax accounting, and financial governance. Focus on optimizing internal controls, chart of accounts and cash management, supporting global system implementations, and driving the Finance AI journey.

What you will do

  • Lead group financial controlling and manage group- and entity-level controlling teams.
  • Oversee month-end closing and alignment with group reporting processes.
  • Lead IFRS compliance, group audit coordination, local annual reporting, taxable income and tax accounting in cooperation with Group Tax and Legal.
  • Build and maintain group policies, internal controls, segregation of duties and group chart of accounts.
  • Optimize cash management processes and support finance aspects of international country expansion.
  • Contribute to global finance system and compliance implementations and the Finance AI journey.

Requirements

  • Proven leadership experience in financial controlling for a multi-entity group.
  • Experience leading and empowering group- and entity-level accounting and controlling teams.
  • Strong technical accounting knowledge, including IFRS compliance, group audits, local statutory reporting and corporate tax and legal coordination across jurisdictions.
  • Expertise in group policies, internal controls, segregation of duties, chart of accounts management, cash management and corporate structural changes.
  • Experience with global financial system implementations or compliance software, plus enthusiasm for process automation and Finance AI.
  • Collaborative and empowering leadership style with experience removing operational bottlenecks and aligning cross-functional stakeholders.
