Device Strategy Lead Manager Candidate (IoT): Planning and developing differentiated smartphones, data terminals, IoT devices, accessories, and related services through global market, competitor, and technology analysis with an accent on product roadmaps, business growth scenarios, and new-business viability. Focus on formulating strategies with global stakeholders, managing cross-functional projects, and driving customer acquisition and revenue growth for the mobile business.

Location: Tokyo, Japan

What you will do

Analyze global markets, competitors, and technology trends across smartphones, data terminals, IoT devices, and accessories.
Plan and develop differentiated products and services, including wearables, smart glasses, and AI devices.
Formulate product roadmaps and business growth scenarios.
Plan new products and services and evaluate their business viability.
Formulate and execute strategies with global internal and external stakeholders.
Lead cross-functional initiatives aimed at customer acquisition and mobile-business revenue growth.

Requirements

At least 3 years of practical experience in the terminal, telecommunications, IT, or consumer electronics industry.
Experience in business planning, product planning, business development, or strategic planning.
Experience promoting business with internal and external stakeholders.
Experience managing projects involving multiple departments.
Advanced English and fluent Japanese are required.

Nice to have

Experience in the smartphone or device business.
Experience collaborating with OEMs, ODMs, component manufacturers, or telecommunications carriers.
Experience managing initiatives from planning and design through release.
Previous experience as an Assistant Manager, Manager, or above.
