Accountant - German Speaking (Austrian GAAP) (Accounts Receivable/Payable): Managing incoming payments, customer and vendor accounts, payment runs, outstanding items, master data, and monthly and annual closing activities with an accent on Austrian GAAP, accuracy, and structured accounting operations. Focus on reconciling discrepancies, coordinating with customers and internal departments in German, and supporting the transition from Diamant to Oracle NetSuite.

What you will do
- Post incoming payments daily, maintain customer accounts, and monitor outstanding receivables.
- Review, code, and post supplier invoices while maintaining vendor accounts.
- Prepare and execute payment runs and monitor payment due dates.
- Coordinate with internal departments, clarify discrepancies, and manage outstanding items through debt collection when required.
- Create and maintain master data records and support monthly and annual closing activities.
Requirements
- Completed accounting education or training with approximately 3–5 years of accounting experience.
- Very good German speaking skills at C1/C2 level are required for communication with customers and internal departments.
- Good English skills are required.
- Structured, reliable, accurate, solution-oriented, and communicative working style.
- Interest in digital tools and automation, IT proficiency, and experience with accounting and CRM systems.
