SAP FI/CO Senior Application Specialist - Corporate IT Service Department

What you will do

• Lead the design, configuration, and deployment of SAP FI/CO, Asset Accounting, and Project Management solutions.
• Act as the subject matter expert for SAP application architecture and integration points.
• Analyze business requirements and translate them into functional specifications and technical solutions.
• Drive system enhancements, upgrades, and transformation initiatives, including migration to S/4HANA.
• Manage complex incidents, perform root cause analysis, and implement preventive measures.
• Support audit and compliance activities, documentation, system validation, and end-user training.

Requirements

• 7+ years of hands-on SAP ERP experience with ECC or S/4HANA.
• At least two full-cycle SAP implementations.
• Deep knowledge of SAP FI/CO, Asset Accounting, or Project Management.
• Strong understanding of finance business processes and excellent problem-solving skills.
• Strong communication skills in both Japanese and English are required.
• Ability to work independently and collaborate with internal stakeholders, external partners, and global teams.

Nice to have

• SAP certification in one or more modules.
• Experience with ABAP, BTP, PI/PO, IDoc, BAPI, SAP Fiori, or SAP Analytics Cloud.
• Familiarity with ITIL, Agile, or Waterfall project management methodologies.
• Knowledge of Japanese business practices and regulatory requirements.
• Experience in a global or matrixed organization.
