TL;DR
DevOps Engineer (AI, GitLab) (AI infrastructure and MLOps): Building and operating infrastructure, CI/CD pipelines, and containerized services for AI development, training, and inference with an accent on GitLab, Kubernetes, cloud platforms, and Terraform. Focus on operationalizing machine learning models, implementing observability and security controls, and improving reliability, scalability, and reproducibility across environments.
Location: Katowice, Poland; candidates must be located in Poland, hold EU citizenship, and be available for visits to the Katowice office and occasional business trips abroad.
Salary: UoP 12,000–16,000 PLN gross/month; B2B 100–140 PLN net/hour.

What you will do
- Design, configure, and maintain cloud, on-premises, and hybrid infrastructure for AI development, training, and inference.
- Build and maintain GitLab CI/CD and MLOps pipelines for code, data workflows, model training, testing, validation, and deployment.
- Package, deploy, and scale AI applications using Docker and Kubernetes.
- Operationalize machine learning models with reproducibility, versioning, traceability, and controlled releases.
- Implement monitoring, logging, alerting, and performance tracking for infrastructure, applications, and AI model endpoints.
- Improve reliability, scalability, security, configuration consistency, and operational efficiency while collaborating with data scientists, AI engineers, developers, and cybersecurity specialists.
Requirements
- Advanced experience with GitLab and CI/CD pipelines, with more than 5 years of experience.
- Expertise in Docker and Kubernetes, with more than 3 years of experience.
- Knowledge of data science, machine learning principles, and AI frameworks such as Haystack and LangChain.
- Experience with AWS or Azure, Terraform, Python, Git, Jira, and Confluence.
- Experience with monitoring and observability, including structured logging, metrics collection, Prometheus, Grafana, databases, and search engines.
- EU citizenship, location in Poland, fluent English at B2/C1 level, and availability for Katowice office visits.
