What you will do
- Research, propose, write, report, and edit news reports and analytical pieces about Tunisia and North Africa.
- Respond rapidly to breaking news with accurate, timely on-the-spot reporting and editorial advice.
- Produce journalism for digital, television, audio, social media, and other multimedia platforms.
- Develop original stories, exclusive reporting, coverage ideas, and contributions to the news diary.
- Provide analysis, briefings, and informed coverage of political, economic, social, and cultural developments.
- Work with editors, reporters, and producers across the region while meeting tight deadlines and editorial standards.
Requirements
- Right to work in Tunisia as a condition of employment.
- Comprehensive knowledge of North Africa’s political, economic, social, and cultural landscape.
- Excellent written and spoken Arabic and English, with the ability to report, write, and broadcast confidently in both languages.
- Experience in live broadcasting and breaking news, including strong on-screen presence, microphone skills, and multimedia tools.
- Strong editorial judgement, impartiality, communication skills, and the ability to work independently and collaboratively.
- Willingness and ability to travel across the region, including challenging and high-risk environments.
