Associate Analyst, Falcon Complete (Cybersecurity, Remote)

Location: Remote within Japan; candidates based in Australia are also welcome. Visa sponsorship is not available.

What you will do

• Handle security incidents across Windows, Mac, and Linux platforms.
• Perform basic static and dynamic malware analysis.
• Develop and improve incident detection and countermeasure processes.
• Communicate recommendations and investigation findings to customer management through high-quality written and verbal communication.
• Share industry expertise through blog posts, CrowdCasts, and public speaking events.
• Manage internal programs or teams.

Requirements

• 1–4 years of related experience and the ability to complete technical tasks without supervision.
• Experience conducting or managing incident response investigations involving targeted threats such as advanced persistent threats, organized crime, and hacktivists.
• Knowledge of computer forensics, network forensics, systems administration, secure network architecture, and network operations.
• Ability to perform malware analysis and create tactical and strategic remediation plans for compromised organizations.
• Programming or scripting experience with C, C#, VB, Python, Perl, Ruby on Rails, and .NET.
• Currently located in Japan or Australia; visa sponsorship is not available. High business-level to native Japanese, including writing, is required for direct communication with local customers.
