Location: Marsa, Malta; flexible working hours and home-office opportunities are available.

What you will do
- Generate accurate periodic and ad-hoc reports from pharmacovigilance databases.
- Develop, validate, and standardize SQL and PL/SQL queries.
- Support automation solutions using VBA and AI.
- Translate business needs into reliable reporting solutions and improve Cognos-based reporting tools.
- Investigate data-quality issues, identify root causes, and coordinate resolution.
- Collaborate with PV Technology, Safety Writing, Regulatory, IT, and other global functions.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, Data Analytics, Life Sciences, or a related field.
- Up to 3 years of relevant experience, including internships, working-student positions, or entry-level roles.
- Experience with pharmacovigilance database reporting, SQL, and data analysis.
- Ability to interpret complex data and explain findings clearly.
- Strong logical and critical thinking, collaboration, organization, ownership, and attention to data quality.
Nice to have
- Experience with Cognos reporting tools.
- Knowledge of VBA or other reporting automation technologies.
- Basic knowledge of Japanese.
