Senior Global Pharmacovigilance Data Analyst (SQL): Developing, validating, and optimizing complex reporting solutions and SQL queries for global pharmacovigilance data with an accent on data integrity, safety reporting, and process improvement. Focus on investigating root causes, building reporting automation, supporting system enhancements, and coordinating with global cross-functional stakeholders.
Location: Marsa, Malta; flexible working hours and home-office opportunities are available.

What you will do
- Develop, validate, and optimize complex pharmacovigilance reporting solutions and SQL queries.
- Generate and oversee critical periodic and ad hoc safety reports.
- Investigate data integrity and reporting issues, perform root cause analyses, and drive corrective actions.
- Partner with IT, Safety Systems, Regulatory Affairs, Medical Affairs, and other global functions.
- Identify automation and process optimization opportunities while supporting system enhancements, testing, and implementation projects.
- Mentor junior team members and share reporting and data management best practices.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Data Analytics, Life Sciences, or a related discipline.
- Several years of experience in data analytics, reporting, or database management.
- Advanced SQL and database querying skills.
- Strong experience investigating data quality and data integrity issues.
- Ability to translate business requirements into scalable reporting solutions.
- Strong stakeholder management and communication skills, including experience in complex global and cross-functional environments.
Nice to have
- Experience with pharmacovigilance systems such as Argus or ARISg.
- Experience with Cognos or comparable reporting platforms.
- Experience in pharmacovigilance, drug safety, or clinical data management.
- Experience with reporting automation and process improvement initiatives.
