Software Engineer II – Agentic AI & Infrastructure (AI/Python): Developing new functionality, custom client projects, and AI-enabled software tools with an accent on agentic AI systems, LLM infrastructure, and computational problem solving. Focus on building RAG pipelines, model-serving integrations, vector database workflows, and production applications using Python and modern AI frameworks.

and BETA CAE Systems develop engineering software and solutions for mechanical and electronic systems design across automotive, aerospace, consumer electronics, communications, hyperscale computing, and healthcare.
What you will do
- Develop new functionality and tools for the software suite with engineers and product managers.
- Deliver custom software projects for clients.
- Translate business requirements into effective technical solutions beyond the coding implementation.
- Optimize existing technology solutions and define their further evolution.
- Develop algorithmic solutions for computational problems.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Software Development, or a related field.
- Practical knowledge of AI/ML, large language models, and generative AI.
- Experience with AI/LLM infrastructure, model serving, inference, APIs, embeddings, vector databases, RAG pipelines, and AI service integration.
- Experience with agentic AI architecture, including tool use, function calling, orchestration, agent workflows, and multi-step reasoning.
- Strong Python skills and knowledge of software engineering principles, APIs, distributed systems, and production integration.
- Fluent written and verbal English is required.
Nice to have
- Experience with AI assistants, agentic AI systems, or LLM-based applications.
- Experience with RAG, information retrieval, embeddings, re-ranking, vector databases, and LLM evaluation.
- Experience with model serving, containers, cloud or on-premises environments, GPUs, and performance optimization.
- C or C++ programming experience, including AI/ML integration into C/C++ applications.
- Experience with NLP, LLM fine-tuning, prompt engineering, Linux, networking, REST APIs, CI/CD, automated testing, or distributed systems.
