Senior .NET Developer / Tech Lead (Fintech)

Location: Fully remote within Estonia, Lithuania, or Latvia

Rate: Negotiated based on seniority and client budget

Family-owned IT staff augmentation provider building engineering teams for product companies and IT consultancies across Europe and the US.

What you will do

• Design and develop payment-focused backend services using C# and modern .NET.
• Contribute to technical design and architectural decisions.
• Build integrations with REST APIs, third-party platforms, messaging systems, and file-based interfaces.
• Maintain code quality through code reviews and engineering best practices.
• Mentor developers, lead technical discussions, and take technical ownership.
• Collaborate with product, compliance, QA, and engineering teams to build secure, reliable, and scalable software.

Requirements

• 7+ years of hands-on C#/.NET experience.
• Strong backend development experience with REST APIs, integrations, and distributed systems.
• Strong SQL and relational database experience.
• Experience with Docker and CI/CD.
• Experience as a Senior Engineer, Tech Lead, or similar role.
• English required; the role is remote within Estonia, Lithuania, or Latvia.

Nice to have

• Experience in payments, banking, fintech, financial services, or regulated environments.
• Knowledge of ISO 20022 or SEPA.
• Understanding of clearing, settlement, or payment processing.
• Experience with Azure or AWS.
