What you will do
- Coordinate delivery and quality assurance of the approved NYOTA BDS curriculum across assigned locations.
- Facilitate practical, experiential and participant-centred sessions covering financial literacy, record keeping, marketing, customer relations, business planning, digital tools and market access.
- Lead or co-facilitate Training of Trainers programmes, assess trainer readiness, observe delivery and provide structured coaching and feedback.
- Connect classroom learning with participants’ businesses, business ideas and market opportunities through enterprise guidance and market linkages.
- Collect and analyse participant and trainer feedback, document lessons learned and recommend improvements to programme delivery.
- Maintain training records, attendance data and progress reports while coordinating with NRC teams, partners, MSEA and other stakeholders.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in entrepreneurship, business management, business administration, economics, development studies, livelihoods or a related field.
- At least three years of relevant experience implementing BDS and/or entrepreneurship programmes, including business or entrepreneurship training.
- Proficiency in written and spoken English and Kiswahili is required.
- Ability to apply gender-responsive, disability-inclusive, culturally appropriate and safe learning approaches.
- Experience working in Kakuma, Kalobeyei and/or Dadaab is highly desirable.
Nice to have
- Knowledge of Arabic, French or other languages commonly used in Kenyan refugee settings.
- Experience with business information, networking and market-linkage activities.
