TL;DR
Platform Engineer (Rust/Go/Python): Building internal services, command-line tools, and automation that improve software development, testing, release, and support workflows with an accent on CI/CD, build tooling, developer experience, and containerized environments. Focus on designing engineering systems across Rust, Go, and Python, integrating Docker and Kubernetes, and solving developer enablement challenges for a broad engineering organization.
Location: On-site in Tokyo, Japan. Work hours: 8:45–17:45 with a 60-minute break. Japan relocation support and visa sponsorship are available.

What you will do
- Develop and improve internal tools and services used by engineering teams.
- Build solutions across CI/CD, build tooling, release workflows, documentation tooling, log collection, and internal support workflows.
- Create services, command-line tools, and automation that improve the developer experience.
- Contribute to new and existing systems using Rust, Go, Python, or comparable technologies.
- Develop tooling for containerized environments with Docker and Kubernetes.
Requirements
- 3+ years of professional software engineering experience.
- Experience designing and building software services, command-line tools, developer tools, or internal engineering systems.
- Professional programming experience with at least one general-purpose language such as Rust, Go, Python, or C++.
- Experience contributing across multiple technical areas or system layers.
- Understanding of CI/CD, build systems, testing, deployment, or release processes.
- Ability to collaborate with engineers and understand internal user needs.
Nice to have
- Experience in Platform Engineering, Developer Experience, Engineering Enablement, or a similar team.
- Experience building tools or services for a large engineering organization.
- Experience with Rust, Go, or Python.
