Senior Software Engineer in Test (Payments)

Location: Onsite at hirify.global HCMC, Vietnam office

What you will do

• Own test strategy planning, prioritization, execution, maintenance, and automation for FundsCore platforms.
• Determine test coverage and testing types from user stories, system design, code, and product quality standards.
• Identify critical test cases and build automated suites using mocks to improve coverage and reliability.
• Build, extend, and customize testing frameworks and automation pipelines.
• Design and review medium and large tests before development and contribute to product and system design.
• Support operational excellence through bug fixing, observability, compliance, documentation, and on-call duties.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
• 5+ years of relevant software development experience.
• Strong coding and test automation skills in Golang, Python, or another major programming language.
• Experience building test suites, understanding system architecture, and testing across APIs, databases, and services.
• Experience with automation pipelines, design reviews, merge-request discussions, observability, SLAs, security, data governance, and regulatory compliance.
• Proficiency in spoken and written English.
