Director Contract Analytics New Customer Models and Transformation

Location: Hybrid role based in Morristown, New Jersey or Cambridge, Massachusetts, United States; approximately 10–15% travel.

Salary: $178,500.00–$257,833.33 annually.

What you will do

• Lead analytical responses to emerging customer, payer, and PBM contracting models.
• Coordinate Contract Analytics, Finance, Legal, Strategic Pricing, Government Pricing, Operations, and Digital stakeholders.
• Build executive-ready analyses, business cases, recommendations, and risk assessments for novel contracting structures.
• Lead Contract Analytics transformation initiatives, including forecasting platform implementation and process redesign.
• Partner with Digital teams on Pre-Deal and Post-Deal Analytics models and enterprise data modernization.
• Improve governance, documentation, forecasting inputs, and recurring analytical frameworks for contract, fee, and rebate data.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree required; relevant backgrounds include life sciences, engineering, mathematics, economics, finance, social sciences, or related fields.
• At least 7 years of pharmaceutical or life sciences experience in Contracting, Pricing, Market Access, Finance, Analytics, Data Science, or Strategy.
• Experience with Managed Markets contracting and a strong understanding of pharmaceutical contracting, payer economics, and PBM/GPO fee and rebate structures.
• Demonstrated leadership of cross-functional initiatives or transformation projects involving Finance, Legal, Pricing, or Operations.
• Strong quantitative reasoning, structured problem-solving, strategic thinking, executive communication, and recommendation-building skills.
• Familiarity with enterprise planning platforms, forecasting tools, and data and analytics infrastructure concepts.

Nice to have

• Advanced degree such as an MBA, MS, or equivalent.
• Experience navigating payer, PBM, regulatory, pricing reform, or compliance-driven changes.
• Experience with platform implementations, process redesign, or data modernization.
