Product Designer (Sports Streaming)

Location: Hybrid, Toronto, Canada

Salary: CAD 100,000–145,000 per year

hirify.global develops Bally Sports Live, a consumer sports streaming product for connected TV, mobile, and web.

What you will do

• Partner with Product Management and Engineering to design and ship elegant, practical product solutions.
• Design experiences across living-room TV, mobile apps, and web for users with varied needs and technical comfort.
• Conduct user research, usability testing, experiments, design sprints, and discovery sessions.
• Use product analytics, customer support feedback, and social feedback to identify opportunities.
• Own problems end to end, from exploration and prototyping through handoff, launch, and design QA.
• Present design rationale to stakeholders and advocate for users and product direction.

Requirements

• 3+ years of experience in consumer product design with shipped features or products.
• Experience designing for mobile apps and web; connected TV or video product experience is a plus.
• Strong visual design, information architecture, interaction design, critical thinking, and creative problem-solving skills.
• Proficiency with design and prototyping tools, including hands-on user research and testing.
• Ability to work independently with ambiguous briefs in a Lean or Agile environment and communicate design decisions clearly.
• Passion for streaming, sports, and entertainment, with a portfolio showing problem framing, shipped work, and outcomes.

Nice to have

• Experience with Roku, Amazon Fire TV, or other connected TV devices.
• Experience prototyping with AI tools such as Claude Code.
• Startup or entrepreneurial experience.
