Production Supervisor (Wire and Cable Manufacturing)

Location: Poços de Caldas, Minas Gerais, Brazil; onsite production role

What you will do

• Supervise production operators and ensure production targets, schedules, critical cable orders, and work-order deliveries are achieved.
• Ensure compliance with engineering specifications, operating procedures, safety requirements, environmental procedures, and quality standards.
• Monitor production indicators including OEE, productivity, yield, scrap, consumption, non-conformities, WIP, and equipment performance.
• Manage workforce allocation, vacation planning, discipline, performance reviews, feedback, and operational communication.
• Report equipment and machinery issues, propose improvements to increase performance and reduce costs, and coordinate TPM activities across autonomous, corrective, and preventive maintenance.
• Maintain the Integrated Management System and support compliance with ISO 9001, ISO 14001, and ISO 45001, including internal and external audits.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Production Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Business Administration, or a related field.
• At least 5 years of experience in the position is desirable.
• Knowledge of production processes, quality control, production indicators, loss management, and basic maintenance support.
• Experience with people management, Kanban, Lean System, and Microsoft Office, with intermediate/advanced PowerPoint and Excel skills.
• Basic English and Spanish are desirable.
