TL;DR
Clinical Product Specialist (Insulin Pump Therapy): Providing clinical education, technical support, and troubleshooting for insulin pump customers throughout onboarding and ongoing product use with an accent on individualized guidance, customer training, and clinical issue assessment. Focus on managing complex patient contacts, documenting interactions, maintaining regulatory compliance, and supporting product support teams.

Location: Remote in Canada; occasional travel is required for meetings and Product Support training.

What you will do

  • Provide empathetic customer education and support by phone, email, virtual meetings, and assigned tasks.
  • Train customers and troubleshoot insulin pump use, Personal Diabetes Manager settings, product conversions, and ongoing product operation.
  • Assess clinical issues, medical events, onboarding needs, and education requirements to provide individualized guidance.
  • Document all customer interactions in the CRM system, follow standardized workflows, and meet service levels.
  • Collaborate with Product Support, Clinical Business, Learning and Development, Medical Affairs, Marketing, Research and Development, Customer Care, Post-Market, and Quality Systems teams.
  • Support customer retention, product education, regulatory reporting, team learning, and on-call coverage.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree and at least 2 years of experience training or managing insulin pump patients.
  • Current Certified Diabetes Care and Education Specialist certification is required.
  • Professional credentials such as CDCES, Registered Dietitian, or Registered Nurse certification are required, along with applicable state licensure.
  • Ability to maintain all required certifications and licensure throughout employment.
  • Experience communicating with a wide range of audiences and providing assessment and troubleshooting by phone, virtual platforms, and email.
  • Ability to work remotely with a workspace that meets security and other operational requirements.

Nice to have

  • Prior industry or commercial experience.
  • Experience in a contact center or similar environment.
  • Salesforce experience.
