Full Stack Software Engineer (Vue)

Location: Nicosia, Cyprus; fully remote, with occasional team meetings and onsite activities a few times per year

What you will do

• Design and ship full-stack features for Authoring Tools, from backend logic to polished frontend experiences.
• Own and evolve frontend architecture in Vue.js, including design patterns and consistent engineering practices.
• Build and maintain scalable PHP backend services with a focus on performance, robustness, and maintainability.
• Drive work end to end through problem definition, estimation, implementation, review, iteration, and release.
• Collaborate with Product and Design to shape solutions, provide technical context, and improve product outcomes.
• Use AI-powered coding tools such as Copilot, ChatGPT, Claude, and Cursor while maintaining engineering quality.

Requirements

• 5+ years of professional software development experience, preferably in complex SaaS or product environments.
• Strong proficiency in modern JavaScript and Vue.js, including frontend architecture, design patterns, and maintainable UI development.
• Proficiency in PHP and confidence working across the full stack.
• Experience with RESTful APIs, HTTP, relational databases such as MySQL and PostgreSQL, and MongoDB.
• Experience with legacy codebases, debugging, performance optimization, autonomous delivery, and changing requirements.
• Native or near-native Greek and a good working command of English are required.

Nice to have

• Experience building authoring tools, editors, content creation experiences, or highly interactive web applications.
• Experience with Docker, Kubernetes, or microservices architectures.
• Exposure to or interest in Go.
• Experience in EdTech, LMS systems, or complex SaaS products.
• Open-source contributions, GitHub repositories, or notable personal projects.
