Associate Product Designer (Construction Toys)

Location: Onsite in Montreal, Quebec, Canada

What you will do

• Generate concepts for new construction toys and develop them from ideation through production follow-up.
• Create sketches, block constructions, formal and functional studies, decorations, and color definitions.
• Build 3D study models, mock-ups, prototypes, presentation images, and product submissions.
• Develop new 3D parts suitable for integration into the construction system and injection molding.
• Plan and generate images for assembly instruction booklets.
• Collaborate with engineers, project managers, brand managers, graphic designers, marketing, and other functions.

Requirements

• DEC or bachelor's degree in industrial design, or equivalent experience.
• 1–3 years of relevant experience.
• Strong hand-sketching, model-making, presentation, teamwork, and project organization skills.
• Experience with 3D and 2D software such as SolidWorks, Cinema 4D, and Adobe Suite.
• Comfortable in French; English is an asset.
• Interest in construction toys, attention to detail and aesthetics, creativity, resourcefulness, and ability to respect deadlines and product budgets.
