Lead Software Engineer (AI & Quality Engineering)

Location: Toronto, Canada; hybrid work with two office days per week

Salary: 113,840–170,760 CAD annually, plus an annual discretionary bonus

What you will do

• Understand customer requirements and design solutions for the SimCorp Data Ingestion product.
• Implement, test, and support software in production using C#, .NET, Azure, APIs, and cloud-based services.
• Improve engineering practices through quality engineering, test automation, and AI-assisted software development.
• Explore the use of AI and generative AI to improve development productivity, testing effectiveness, and operational excellence.
• Improve system performance, scalability, observability, CI/CD, and developer productivity.
• Collaborate in an agile team of 5–7 engineers to deliver customer features and continuously improve the product.

Requirements

• Experience with C# and .NET development.
• Experience with Microsoft Azure and cloud-based services.
• Experience with test automation and quality engineering, including Playwright or Cypress.
• Knowledge of agile testing methodologies and CI/CD.
• Interest or experience in AI-assisted software development tools and generative AI applications in engineering.
• English is required for corporate communication.
