Cloud Engineer III - Databricks, Snowflake, GCP/AWS (Hybrid)

What you will do

• Plan and implement enterprise data platforms across AWS and GCP.
• Drive adoption of cloud-native services, automation, release best practices, and secure infrastructure.
• Administer Databricks Unity Catalog governance across more than 100 projects, including compute policies, cluster rules, and access controls.
• Maintain Terraform and Databricks Asset Bundles CI/CD pipelines for notebooks, data pipelines, jobs, AI/ML workflows, and project settings.
• Support FinOps analysis, multi-cloud migration planning, external access architectures, and centralized observability for data workflows.
• Redesign workspace architecture for disaster recovery and troubleshoot Databricks connectivity and performance using AWS and GCP services.

Requirements

• 3+ years of hands-on public cloud experience with AWS and/or GCP.
• 2+ years of Databricks experience, including Unity Catalog, Delta Lake, and Databricks Asset Bundles.
• 1+ year of Snowflake experience, including data warehousing, access management, and cross-platform integrations.
• Working knowledge of Python, Terraform, or Ansible, including the Databricks Terraform provider and DABs.
• Experience with Docker, EC2/ASG, Lambda, ECS/EKS, cloud networking, CI/CD, observability, and AI/ML workflows.
• Fluent English is required, both written and verbal. A bachelor’s degree in information or computer science, engineering, or a related IT discipline is also required.

Nice to have

• Experience with FinOps, Flyway or Liquibase, OIDC-based authentication, and multi-cloud data or AI workload migration.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to explain governance and architecture concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
