DevSecOps Lead

Location: Toronto, Canada; flexible hybrid work model

Salary: CAD 140,000–160,000 annually, plus eligibility for a short-term incentive plan

What you will do

• Define and implement reusable DevSecOps and cloud components for a next-generation platform.
• Deliver end-to-end automation, security controls, and measurable OKRs for the group.
• Develop and maintain tooling for instrumentation, dashboards, deployment automation, and production availability.
• Implement secure system configurations, baselines, and software control best practices.
• Provide high-availability operational support and automated solutions across the environment.
• Build deep telemetry capabilities and mentor development and product teams on operational ownership.

Requirements

• 6+ years of delivery experience implementing DevSecOps and automation capabilities.
• Experience with cloud automation, zero-touch deployments, DevOps tooling, and platform reliability engineering.
• Experience developing pipelines for Java, Spring Boot, and JavaScript, plus knowledge of Bash, Python, and RESTful APIs.
• Experience creating Ansible and Terraform playbooks, and working with Docker or similar container technologies.
• Knowledge of OpenShift or Kubernetes, Azure or AWS, Kafka or JMS, and Envoy or Nginx.
• Eligibility to work for hirify.global Corp. in Canada in a full-time capacity, along with a relevant post-secondary degree or diploma.
