Lead Game Designer (AAA FPS)

Location: Belgrade, Serbia; hybrid workplace

What you will do

• Collaborate with the Game Director and Game Design team on design decisions for a large AAA first-person shooter.
• Own, drive, and communicate the vision for major design initiatives, new features, and design overhauls.
• Lead brainstorming and playtest sessions and coordinate design work across engineering, art, and production disciplines.
• Lead complex and impactful game design areas with minimal oversight.
• Analyze internal and external metrics and feedback to adjust design and game balance.
• Contribute to prototyping, gameplay balancing, and gameplay tuning.

Requirements

• Experience in game design for first-person or third-person shooter games.
• Full-cycle, multidisciplinary development experience, including at least one shipped title as a game designer.
• Knowledge of 3D level and game design tools and editors, primarily Unreal Engine 5.
• Strong creative, organizational, communication, and quality-focused skills.
• Familiarity with project management methodologies and software.
• Proficiency in English for verbal, written, and technical communication.
