Vue-plus Fullstack (Java/Vue)

Location: Hybrid work in Tallinn or Tartu, Estonia

What you will do

• Design, build, test, debug, and operate reliable features using Java, Vue, and other technologies.
• Develop and maintain APIs, messaging flows, integrations, and data-consistency mechanisms.
• Extend long-lived services and existing codebases across Kubernetes, on-premise, and mixed environments.
• Contribute to automated testing, code reviews, documentation, and production support.
• Collaborate with product, quality, and engineering partners in an agile delivery process.
• Use approved AI-assisted development tools while validating generated code through testing, review, and operational checks.

Requirements

• Professional experience developing backend or full-stack software in a commercial or product team.
• Strong understanding of runtime behavior, relational databases, SQL, debugging, data structures, and algorithmic complexity.
• Experience with information-system concepts such as source of truth, concurrent updates, partial integration failures, and idempotency.
• Ability to write clean, maintainable, testable code and contribute to meaningful code reviews.
• Clear English communication, ownership of assigned areas, and effective collaboration skills.
• Understanding of data classification, security requirements, and restrictions on sharing information with external AI tools.

Nice to have

• Production experience with Java and Spring or Vue.
• Experience with Kafka or similar asynchronous integration technologies.
• Experience modernizing or extending large, long-lived codebases.
• Full-stack delivery across APIs and user interfaces.
• Documented experience with AI-assisted development and outcome validation.
