Senior Frontend Engineer (AI)

Location: On-site in Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates

What you will do

• Design and develop scalable frontend applications and interactive user experiences.
• Build reusable component libraries and maintain frontend design systems.
• Integrate REST APIs, GraphQL, WebSockets, SSE, and event-driven platforms.
• Optimize performance, accessibility, security, and frontend reliability.
• Define testing strategies, conduct code reviews, and promote engineering best practices.
• Mentor junior engineers and collaborate with designers, backend engineers, and product managers on technical planning.

Requirements

• 5+ years of frontend development experience and 4+ years of TypeScript experience.
• Strong expertise in React, Next.js, frontend architecture, design systems, state management, SSR/SSG, and performance optimization.
• Experience with automated testing, API integration, enterprise web applications, and secure development.
• Knowledge of TypeScript, React, Next.js, HTML5, CSS3, Tailwind CSS, Redux, Zustand, and Context API.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience.
• Ability to work on-site in Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates.

Nice to have

• Experience with Vue.js, micro frontends, Module Federation, multi-tenant platforms, PWAs, and high-traffic platforms.
• Experience building AI-powered UIs, integrating LLMs, contributing to open source, or leading frontend initiatives.
