TL;DR
Fullstack Developer (Vue): Designing, developing, testing, and maintaining high-volume customer-facing web applications with an accent on client, server, database, and web performance engineering. Focus on leading development teams, building secure and resilient systems, integrating CI/CD and cloud platforms, and supporting production services.
Location: Sha Tin, New Territories, Hong Kong; on-site

The Hong Kong Jockey Club operates racing, racecourse entertainment, membership, sports wagering, lottery, and community contribution services, supported by an IT division across Hong Kong and Shenzhen.
What you will do
- Lead estimation, application and service design, coding, testing, maintenance, and support for high-volume customer-facing web applications.
- Design, enhance, develop, and maintain databases supporting business and IT requirements.
- Evaluate new business-enabling technologies through feasibility studies and pilots.
- Plan development resources, monitor progress, and conduct software reviews according to defined IT standards.
- Collaborate with stakeholders, architects, assurance, project management, infrastructure, operations, and Shenzhen development teams to deliver mobile and web systems.
- Provide rostered off-duty standby support for production systems and help foster a diverse, collaborative team culture.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree or above in Computer Science, IT, or a related discipline.
- 5–8 years of development experience with .NET Framework, HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, MVC, AJAX, JSON, XML, and jQuery.
- Experience managing projects and leading local and remote development teams.
- Strong understanding of UI/UX frameworks, DevOps, Agile methodology, web performance tuning, and data security.
- Knowledge or experience with CI/CD tools such as Bitbucket, Jenkins, or UrbanCode Deploy.
- Proficiency in spoken and written English and Cantonese is required. Putonghua is an advantage.
Nice to have
- Experience with React, Angular, Vue, or Node.
- Knowledge of Linux, Sitecore, Teamsite, WordPress, Magento, Microsoft Azure, or other cloud platforms.
- Understanding of web analytics, SEO, iOS, Android, social networks, and video streaming.
- Vendor management experience and relevant Microsoft or Amazon certifications.
