Senior Fullstack Engineer (Healthcare)

Location: Oslo, Bergen, or anywhere in Norway; hybrid work with some teams regularly co-located in Oslo and Bergen

Salary: 1–1.2m NOK/year

hirify.global is an early-stage startup building an integrated software platform for Norwegian healthcare as part of the Kernel cooperation.

What you will do

• Design and implement end-to-end features for clinical planning and healthcare workflows.
• Keep backend services and frontend applications aligned across the product.
• Build features for patient portals, case handling, care management, and workforce planning.
• Refactor systems based on user and peer feedback while defining effective engineering practices.
• Own operational support for the services you build.
• Work with product managers and designers in a small, cross-functional team.

Requirements

• Experience building greenfield SaaS products as a fullstack engineer.
• Ability to evaluate trade-offs and make sound architectural decisions.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to explain technical reasoning.
• Experience in product-led startups with autonomous, cross-functional teams.
• Comfort working across PostgreSQL, C# .NET, React, Next.js, and TypeScript, or the ability to learn adjacent technologies quickly.
• Curiosity, collaboration, ownership, and a continuous improvement mindset.

Nice to have

• Passion for or understanding of healthcare.
• Experience with AI-assisted case handling, complex algorithms, or workforce and route planning.
