Lead Software Test Engineer (TypeScript/Playwright): Coordinating testing strategy and quality activities for Caterpillar's parts.cat.com web application with an accent on automated testing, CI/CD integration, and responsive application quality. Location: Kosice, Slovakia
Salary: €4,600+ gross per month; base minimum pay of €52,824 annually, plus a performance-related annual cash incentive.

What you will do
- Coordinate testing strategy, planning, and execution across multiple agile product teams.
- Lead quality improvements, innovation, and testing-stream initiatives.
- Work on the parts.cat.com web application and independently validate business-critical features.
- Manage defects, support solution prioritization, and report on testing outcomes and team KPIs.
- Implement automated tests with TypeScript or similar frameworks and define test systems required for software quality.
- Mentor test engineers and guide the creation of structured, high-quality test cases.
Requirements
- Knowledge of software development tools and activities, with the ability to deliver software products aligned with requirements.
- Strong knowledge of software product testing and the ability to design, plan, and execute testing strategies.
- Experience with agile software testing, quality assurance, and coordination of testing teams or activities.
- Experience integrating continuous testing into CI/CD pipelines and applying shift-left practices.
- Hands-on experience with Playwright and TypeScript, plus backend testing tools such as Postman or Bruno.
- Experience with test management and automation tools, responsive application testing, and Azure DevOps or an alternative.
