TL;DR
Senior Software Engineer (Fintech): Designing, implementing, and testing cloud-based server-side Python code for a financial data access API platform with an accent on code performance, data-source integrations, and automated testing. Focus on building reliable backend services, reverse-engineering public APIs, and applying DevOps practices with AWS, Docker, and CI/CD.
Location: Chile, Santiago / Portugal; hybrid, part-time role.

What you will do
- Design, implement, and test cloud-based server-side code in Python.
- Optimize code performance using software engineering best practices.
- Write and maintain unit and integration tests.
Requirements
- Strong knowledge of Python.
- 5+ years of professional experience.
- Knowledge of DevOps, AWS, and containerization tools such as Docker.
- Working experience with CI/CD.
Nice to have
- Experience reverse-engineering public APIs.
- Experience with PostgreSQL.
- Understanding of Django ORM and Django REST Framework.
- Strong background in network protocols and good knowledge of web and mobile technologies.
