Senior Clinical Research Coordinator (Ophthalmology)

Location: Jacksonville, Florida; based at any of Rovia's Jacksonville clinical research sites

What you will do

• Coordinate and conduct patient visits for ophthalmology clinical trials according to study protocols.
• Perform clinical procedures, including vital signs, EKGs, specimen collection and processing, and phlebotomy as applicable.
• Obtain and document informed consent, educate participants, and support a positive patient experience.
• Monitor participant safety, report adverse events, and escalate concerns appropriately.
• Complete source documentation and EDC data entry, resolve data queries, and maintain data integrity.
• Support investigational product accountability, monitoring visits, audits, inspections, and efficient visit flow.

Requirements

• High school diploma required; a bachelor's degree in a related field is preferred.
• 3+ years of clinical research experience.
• Strong knowledge of medical terminology, clinical procedures, ICH/GCP, and regulatory requirements.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office, EDC, and CTMS applications.
• Strong organizational, interpersonal, patient-facing communication, multitasking, and collaboration skills.
• Ability to be based at any of Rovia's Jacksonville clinical research sites.
